Visiting the Pond
Each class visited the pond area towards the end of March, looking for plants and creatures that live in fresh water. Here's what we found...
We were able to get a close look at some frogspawn, and had some tadpoles in a tank in the classroom for a few days too. We also spotted a waterboatman and some pondskaters that moved too fast for lots of us to see! Growing in and around the water were bullrushes and pondweed.
